Everlast® Industrial Floor Limited Warranty

Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. hereby guarantees that the Everlast Industrial Floor and Integral Cove Base (if applicable) that was provided by Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc, will be free from material defects, and will not have excessive surface wear, and will be free from delaminating for a period of 20 years from the date of floor installation completion. Although Everlast Epoxy may recommend an installer, Everlast Epoxy does NOT warrant or guarantee the work of any person or company installing its goods. This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited to all terms found at https://www.everlastepoxy.com/terms-of-sale and as follows:

  1. To the property only as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner named below and Everlast Epoxy has been paid in full for providing the floor.
  2. To the floor that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse and has been maintained per our
  3. To the floor that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by
  4. To the flooring that has been installed per Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc’s published
  5. Hydrostatic pressure (caused from moisture being present underneath the concrete slab) can cause blisters, bubbles and other effects. Moisture vapor transmission reading must be no greater than 3.0 lbs./1000 sf/24 hours. Concrete must contain less than 3% moisture when tested per ASTM D1864. Warranty does not include un-bonding from the substrate due to moisture vapor transmission higher than 3 lbs. per 1,000 SF per 24 hours as tested using ASTM methodology.
  6. Sub-surface contaminants (Oil or other contaminants that can come up from within the concrete slab) causing coating failure. Everlast Industrial Floor is not a permanent fix for deficient concrete (concrete that breaks apart and exhibits reduced integrity) as any flooring is only a sound as the substrate it is applied over. Floor preparation is an important factor in the longevity of Everlast Industrial Floor. Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc cannot make any warranty that guarantees the adhesion to any substrate, as floor preparation is not the responsibility of the flooring manufacture.
  7. Warranty does not include adhesion failure or amine blushing. Adhesion failure can be and amine blushing is the result of installing the floor in adverse environmental conditions. For a successful floor installation we recommend:
    • Maintain substrate temperature range of between 60° F and 85° F 48 hours before, during, and 72 hours after installation of flooring.
    • The substrate must be at least 5˚F (3˚C) above the Dew Point to reduce the risk of condensation, which may lead to adhesion failure or “blushing” on the floor finish. Be aware that the substrate temperature may be lower than the ambient temperature.
    • Maintain constant ambient room temperature of plus or minus 15ºF with a minimum temperature of 60ºF and maximum temperature of 90ºF. Maintain constant ambient room temperature for 48 hours before, during, and 72 hours after installation, or until cured.
    • Relative humidity above 30% and below 75% for a minimum of 48 hours before, during, and after installation, or until cured. Surface temperature must be 5ºF above dew point.
    • Prohibit traffic from area where flooring is being installed and for not less than 24 hours after application.
  8. To only the floor that is not exposed to temperatures in excess of 158 degrees
  9. Warranty does not cover abuse by impact from items being dropped on the floor.
  10. That Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. is immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
  11. In some conditions, the anti-slip will wear out over time and will need to be re-applied. Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc accepts no responsibility as to the time or amount of wearing. The customer is responsible to maintain its own safe limits for slip resistance throughout the life of the floor coating application.
  12. Warranty does not cover general wear and tear as wear should be expected especially at areas that intersect with dissimilar materials such as adjacent flooring materials, drains, thresholds.
  13. There is a possibly that epoxy resins can have some ambering or yellowing in color, this is caused by sunlight or UV lights. Except in cases where the floor is exposed to direct sunlight (than it will chalk) this ambering or yellowing will not affect the performance of the floor.
  14. Warranty does not cover joint sealant as this is a maintenance item and not a permanent product.
  15. If Everlast Industrial Floor fails to perform to its published specifications, outside the limitations of this warranty, Everlast Epoxy shall provide replacement product or refund the original purchase price of such failed flooring.
  16. In an event where warranty work is deemed necessary, the extent of the warranty and warranty work is limited to the defective area only. Everlast Epoxy will not be liable to replace or repair any defective materials under the floor/cove including the substrate.
  17. Under no circumstances shall Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc. be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the installation or construction defect.
  18. Warranty does not cover such costs as commercial losses, loss in business hours of operation, expected business revenue or expenses incurred to support the warranty work.
  19. Warranty is null and void if the Everlast Epoxy recommended cleaning procedures are not followed and/or if the floors are exposed to chemicals not listed on Everlast Epoxy’s approved cleaner list.
  20. Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. will not warranty Everlast Industrial Floor and Integral Cove Base that has been damaged due to substrate movement and/or cracking causing telegraph cracks or other damage to the Everlast Epoxy material.
  21. Everlast Industrial Floor is a floor coating that follows the contour of the substrate, it does not alter the slope of the floor.
  22. Everlast Industrial Floor is hand troweled so each floor is a work of art and will contain some evidence of being hand crafted in the form of trowel beauty marks.
  23. Repairs will be limited to the areas of defect only and will not include compensation for additional costs incurred due to the needs of temporary storage for product and/or equipment, labor of services to remove and replace product and/or equipment, and any lost revenue throughout the repair process.

Everlast® Flex Floor Limited Warranty

Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. hereby guarantees that the Everlast Flex Floor and Integral Cove Base (if applicable) that was provided by Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc, will be free from material defects, and will not have excessive surface wear, and will be free from delaminating for a period of 10 years from the date of floor installation completion. Although Everlast Epoxy may recommend an installer, Everlast Epoxy does NOT warrant or guarantee the work of any person or company installing its goods.   7. To the floor that has been installed over a wood substrate that is outside these recommended standards: The minimum requirement for hardwood floor rigidity (deflection rate) is L/480. Plywood floors shall consist of 2 layers of at least 3/4 inch subfloor panels with offsetting joints (Advantech is recommended), and screwed (nailing not acceptable) into 16 inches o.c. joists. Alternatively, install 1/2 inch (12 mm) concrete backer board, using a quality sub-floor adhesive and deck screws.
