If your commercial floor isn’t Everlast®, then it will never last

Everlast® Outdoor Tough Flooring/Decking 8 year Limited Warranty

Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. hereby warrants Everlast® Outdoor Tough to be free from defects in material and to require a new clear coat every 4-10 years (depending on weather and usage) for a period of 8 years from the date of installation. Although Everlast Epoxy may recommend an installer, Everlast Epoxy does NOT warrant or guarantee the work of any person or company installing its goods. This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited to all terms found at https://www.everlastepoxy.com/terms-of-sale and as follows:

  1. To the property only as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner named above.
  2. To the flooring/decking that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse and has been maintained per our guidelines.
  3. To the flooring/decking that has not been modified, altered, or defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by others
  4. To the flooring/decking that has been installed per Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc's published standards.
  5. Hydrostatic pressure (caused by the presence of moisture underneath concrete slab) can cause blisters, bubbles and other effects. Moisture vapor transmission reading must be no greater than 3.0 lbs/1000 ft²/24 hours. Sub-surface contaminants (oil or other contaminants that can come up from within the concrete slab) can cause coating failure. Everlast® Outdoor Tough is not a permanent fix for deficient concrete (concrete that breaks apart and exhibits reduced integrity) as any flooring/decking is only as sound as the substrate it is applied over. Floor preparation is an important factor in the longevity of Everlast® Floor. Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. cannot make any warranty that guarantees the adhesion to any substrate, as floor preparation is not the responsibility of the flooring/decking manufacture.
  6. Everlast Epoxy is not responsible for defects and or damage from improper installation or use of non-exterior grade subfloors or plywood not intended for use as a subfloor, damage from subfloor shift, expansion or contraction / subfloor failures or irregularities or from use beyond design capability. Expansion and contraction of improperly installed or sealed flooring, subfloors and joints can result in floor damage, thus voiding all warranties. Everlast Epoxy is not responsible for settling, warping or any other failure of the structure on which Everlast® Outdoor Tough Flooring/Decking is adhered to.
  7. To only the flooring/decking that is not exposed to temperatures in excess of 116°F or below -20°F.
  8. That Everlast Epoxy Systems, Inc. is immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
  9. In some conditions, the anti-slip will wear out over time and will need to be re-applied. Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc accepts no responsibility as to the time or amount of wearing. The customer is responsible to maintain the safe limits for slip resistance throughout the life of the floor coating application.
  10. No flooring or decking material is fade-proof when exposed to sunlight and other common atmospheric conditions. Normal Weathering is to be expected over the life of the flooring/decking and is not covered under this limited warranty. Normal Weathering is defined as exposure to sunlight and extremes of weather and atmosphere that will cause any colored surface to gradually fade, chalk, or accumulate dirt or stains.
  11. This limited warranty does not cover any flooring/decking that as been abused, placed under or subjected to abnormal use conditions, has surface damage from power washing or abrasion or surface punctures, or has been used, modified or otherwise treated in any manner other than as intended by Everlast Epoxy, or has been painted, stained, sanded, coated, used, modified or otherwise treated in any manner other than as intended by Everlast Epoxy, or has been damaged by oil-based deck stains and other petroleum-based products, grease drippings or heat from sources such as grills, laundry vents, hot tubs or excess reflective sunlight heat from low-e glass exceeding 116°F., or has been directly or indirectly exposed to extreme heat (in excess of 116 degrees Fahrenheit), or has been directly or indirectly exposed to abrasive compounds of acidic or basic pH, strong solvents, oil based paints or stains, metallic rust, concrete or masonry products, air or water borne minerals and other abnormal residential deck use items. Or has been damaged by gouging, scraping or otherwise puncturing the surface of the flooring/decking.
  12. Stain Limitations: Everlast® Outdoor Tough Flooring/Decking is chemical resistant but is not stain-proof. Care must be taken to remove all food, beverage and other spilled materials with water and a mild household cleaner within forty-eight (48) hours of exposure. Stains resulting from spilled abrasive compounds of acidic or basic pH, strong solvents, oil-based paints or stains, metallic rust, and other abnormal items not commonly used on a residential deck are excluded from coverage under this limited warranty; excluded stains include but are not limited to pet or human bodily fluids such as blood, vomit, urine or feces, and fungicides, bactericides, biocides, and chemical-based plant food. Mold and mildew can settle and grow on any outdoor surface and, if not properly cleaned, can stain that surface. Staining associated with mold or mildew that is not properly cleaned within one week of the first appearance is not covered under this limited warranty. If stains persist, you will be required to produce documentation that you attempted to have the deck professionally cleaned at least one time prior to making a claim under this limited warranty. Without limitation on any other provision of this limited warranty, Admiral does not warrant for stain resistance resulting from spilled or otherwise applied substances that are not properly cleaned with soap and water or mild household cleaners immediately.
  13. If Everlast® Outdoor Tough fails to perform to its published specifications, outside the limitations of this warranty, Everlast Epoxy shall provide replacement product or refund the original purchase price of such failed flooring.
  14. Under no circumstances shall Everlast Epoxy Systems Inc. be liable by virtue of this limited warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary, or consequential damages of any nature however they arise from use or inability to use as a result of the installation or construction defect.
