Care and Maintenance

When maintaining Everlast® Floor, it is important to throughly clean the floor and to extract the standing rinse water nightly. This ensures your floor will last for years as some foods have acids that, when left for days without cleaning, can damage your floor. This can be done either by pushing the water to the drains with a squeegee or, when the floor is flat and does not have positive drainage, with an extractor. Everlast® Floor can withstand temperatures of up to 158°F, so be mindful of the temperature of the water or steam used for cleaning; additionally, be careful to keep hot oil and grease off the floor. Floors in public restrooms, pet care and other facilities requiring daily cleaning need to have the rinse water extracted after each clean to avoid buildup on the floor and keep the floor stain-free as well as ensure a long lifespan of the floor. We advise using a cleaning machine with an extractor. We offer a line of automated scrubbers as a convenience for customers who do not have one.

Everlast Epoxy Systems Vs. Other floors

Epoxy Paint Floors

Affordable with minimal odor and chemical resistance, but requires perfect application, forms unhygienic bubbles, weakens when thinned, damages easily, and cracks over time.

Everlast® Floor

Affordable with minimal odor and chemical resistance, but requires perfect application, forms unhygienic bubbles, weakens when thinned, damages easily, and cracks over time.

Everlast® Floor

Superior, seamless protection with powerful antimicrobial technology, exceptional moisture resistance, and unmatched durability that maintains both hygiene and beauty where other floors fail.

Cementitious Urethane

Just reinforced concrete—porous, bacteria-laden, and deteriorates in moisture despite industry clai

Epoxy Quartz Floors

Multi-step process with thin, brittle layers that can't handle thermal shock. Prone to blistering, bubbling, and delamination from poor bonding, chemical reactions, and trapped air in porous concrete.

Everlast® Floor

Revolutionary poured and troweled system with resin-rich formula that penetrates concrete for superior adhesion. Features temperature resistance, flexibility for durability, seamless antimicrobial protection, and effortless cleaning—delivering lasting beauty where broadcast.

Everlast® Floor

Bonds permanently to concrete with antimicrobial protection, effortless cleaning, and chemical resistance—boosting staff morale while eliminating the sanitation nightmares of sheet flooring.

Rubber Flooring

Despite "seamless" claims, these detach from concrete under kitchen conditions, creating bacteria-breeding pockets that release contamination when pressed.

MMA Floors

Fast-curing but requires perfect preparation, fails to penetrate concrete, and often applied with insufficient resin by cost-cutting contractors.

Everlast® Floor

Perfect penetration with optimal curing time, sold only in complete kits to prevent installer shortcuts, delivering consistent performance and superior bonding where MMA peels away.

Everlast® Floor

Nearly 3x thicker (160 vs 60 mils) with deep substrate penetration, creating waterproof, flexible protection in beautiful colors where competitors simply can't compete.

Polyaspartic Floor

Too fast-curing to bond properly—just a thin sheet on concrete that peels worse than regular epoxy paint.

Silicone - Epoxy Hybrid Floor

Weak adhesion with thermoplastic properties that create unstable, easily damaged surfaces.

Everlast® Floor

Superior flexibilizers maintain perfect adhesion and stability without silicone's drawbacks, delivering secure, durable flooring that withstands conditions where hybrids fail.

Everlast® Floor

Seamless antimicrobial protection with non-skid surface, superior durability, and attractive design options—permanently eliminating the sanitation and safety hazards of tile.

Tile Floors

Affordable but unsanitary with porous grout that traps bacteria. Quarry tiles chip easily; ceramic becomes slippery. Water penetration destroys mortar, creating dangerous loose tiles that can't be permanently repaired.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clean your floor using detergent and water. Dirt and grime are easily removed because the floor is non-porous. In foodservice, medical or restroom areas where the floor is exposed to chemicals we recommend washing your floors with a deckbrush and rinsing off the washwater thoroughly on a daily (or nightly) basis. Everlast Floor can also be pressure washed if necessary.

When maintaining it with the specially formulated floor cleaner that Everlast Epoxy recommends it needs no scrubbing or “elbow grease”. The dirt and grime just “beads up” and can be rinsed off with water. Together, Everlast® Floor and Everlast Epoxy’s recommended cleaner will save you time and money on maintenance.

Odor-Free Installation

Everlast Epoxy Floors are solvent-free and virtually odorless. This means:

  • You can install them while your business remains open
  • Your staff and customers won't be disturbed
  • No harmful vapors are released
  • The installation process has almost no smell

Our flooring uses a resin-rich formula that deeply penetrates your existing floor surface:

  • The epoxy resin saturates into concrete, plywood, or tile during curing
  • It chemically bonds (vulcanizes) with the subfloor
  • This integration makes it become part of the original floor
  • With proper floor preparation, your Everlast Epoxy Floor can last a lifetime.

Everlast Epoxy Flooring stands up to extreme exposure to harsh substances:

  • Withstands daily contact with animal fats, grease, and oils
  • Resists damage from acids, alkali, sugar, blood, urine, and salt
  • Maintains durability even under severe conditions
  • Requires simple maintenance: just clean nightly with Everlast Floor Cleaner

No Wear Patterns

Our epoxy is 100% pure quality:

  • Contains no solvents or fillers that dilute the formula
  • Made with premium-grade resins only
  • This purity prevents the formation of wear patterns, even in high-traffic areas
